Leadership Conference
We want coaches to take with them new ideas and strategies to use in their programs and lives. We also want everyone to have fun and eat good food!
Xs & Os Clinic
Our Xs & Os Clinic is organized and run by Newberry College Football coaches, with help from NC State Football coaches.
During the clinic, coaches split up by position groups, beginning with offense and ending with defense. The college coaches demonstrate drills using Newberry College Football players. Coaches attending the clinic are able to observe the drills up close and ask questions. We also serve a great shrimp boil before the clinic!
Leadership Conference
Our Leadership Conference is organized by Coach Johnny Roscoe and his wife Jane.
Months before the conference, they begin researching and talking with coaches about topics and the best people to speak. They always have a coach talk about developing leadership through books and podcasts, and sometimes they highlight an emerging technology in coaching. They also aim to have a college coach, athletic administrator or a government leader speak.
